The 2012 European Development Days (EDDs) will take place in Brussels from 16th to 17th of October.
EDD12 will focus on supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth in the developing world. Achieving the Millennium Development Goals and implementing the far-reaching priorities laid out in the EU's Agenda for Change go hand in hand with the aim of fostering sustainable growth.
On the agenda will also be topics such as sustainable agriculture, food security and resilience, as well as empowerment and engaging the private sector for development.
The Cyprus Islandwide NGO Development Platform CYINDEP will co-organise two high-level panels, one on the right to food (with CARITAS and CIDSE), and the other one (with CONCORD) on Biofuels.
Participation is free of charge but only possible with an invitation by the organisers.
Deadline for application is the 1st of October 2012.
