Sailing for Sustainability Project

A global education activity initiated by a group of GLEN alumni.

Sailing for Sustainability is a European-wide global education activity on sustainability. In summer 2012 we are going to catch up on Rio+20 (United Nation Conference on sustainable development) and organise a four weeks sailing expedition across the Baltic Sea.

On the ship, 4 sessions of one-week seminars – focusing on sustainability topics – will be held. We have organised events on the ship (taking 30 people per week on board), as well as organised different global education events in harbours on the route.
