October 15-16, 2007: Fair Trade Advocacy Forum; Brussels

The aims of the forum, organised by the four main fair trade networks, are to establish an effective Fair Trade Advocacy Network to execute targeted advocacy activities in a coordinated way and to increase awareness about advocacy among Fair Trade actors. Expected participants are Fair Trade actors interested in advocacy, 40 to 50 people from Europe and abroad.

The event will be followed by a half day conference on October 17 on "Fair Trade: a lever for change: How can the EU support the growing interest of consumers in sustainable production and social responsibility?"
