In April 2008, TRIALOG participated in a conference in Riga about "The contribution of the European Neighbourhood Policy to the development of Eastern neighbours". Recently the organiser, the European Parliament Information Office (EPIO) in Riga, published a report which summarizes the opinions and ideas expressed by the conference participants. Experts from 10 countries - Poland, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia (including six MEPs) - and from the EC discussed the future of the EU Neighbourhood policy in the East and addressed the 90 participants at the conference.
