ESoDoc 2009: European Social Documentary

The application deadline for ESoDoc 2009, the European Social Documentary workshop for NGOs, non profit organizations and filmmakers, is March 03, 2009. The three week-long ESoDoc workshops are held over a six-month period, usually in May, July and October.

ESoDoc aims at creating new opportunities in production for the European documentary market, where the focus is on human rights, social justice and environmental protection, especially in developing nations; at the same time, ESoDoc is a response to growing awareness, on the part of NGOs and non-profit organizations, that film and new media are strategic instruments for the promotion of their work.
