European Citizen Action Service (ECAS) and National Foundation for Civil Society Development (NFCSD) are glad to announce the international conference entitled “Strengthening the triangle CSOs-National Governments-European Commission”. This event will take place in Zadar, Croatia on the 19 and 20 October 2009.
The main themes of the conference will concern the impact of financial crisis and the economic downturn on CSOs, institutional answers to financial and structural challenges and EC programmes in the region focusing on CSO development. Also, you will have the opportunity to get to know about the new EC programme “Capacity building of Civil Society in IPA countries” and to hear about opening of Regional CSO representation office. This event will gather representatives of civil society from the EU and neighbouring countries, donors active in the region as well as high officials from the EU institutions and national governments.
