Oxfam’s Website for Teachers

In autumn, Oxfam has relaunched its website for teachers at http://www.oxfam.org.uk/education to offer more support and ideas for teaching about global issues and developing a Global Citizenship approach across the curriculum.

Oxfam’s website offers free online resources, lesson plans, case studies, assembly ideas, and support and guidance for education practitioners, including:
- ideas for cross-curricular teaching on hot topics including climate change, war and peace, Fair Trade, diversity and identity
- photos and case studies from Oxfam’s work around the world
- award-winning interactive resources, including Mapping our World, BAFTA
- advice and support for tackling global issues that affect pupils’ lives
